Dog lover refuses to give up his dog of 5 years when his new wife suddenly starts complaining about her asthma: 'She ALSO has a dog'

Two-dog households can be a big change if you're not used to having puppers around. With their infinite energy and craving for playtime, doubling down on the number of dogs in the house can result in more of just about everything: Zoomies, kibbles, toys, and the dreaded piles of pet hair.

While animal lovers are never the biggest fans of their pet's hair, oftentimes it's a price they're willing to pay. If having a few dog hairs on their suit on their way to work means that they're greeted with a wagging tail and a slobbery kiss when they come back home, so be it. Pet hair is the unspoken language of dog lovers, and it unifies everyone with a loving canine waiting for them at home. However, would you sacrifice your marriage over it? Would you make your husband kick his dog to the curb over its fur? What about your own dog?

This woman suddenly dreaded her asthmatic attacks and allergies in the house after moving in with her new husband, but it wasn't her first time in the house, nor was it her first time around dogs. She had a dog of her own for years, but when the single pet became a duo, she couldn't handle it any longer. Instead of giving herself time to acclimate, she immediately went on the offensive, cornering her husband into an ultimatum: Get rid of the dog, or she walks.

Frankly, since he had had his dog longer than he had been in a relationship with this woman, his canine companion was starting to look like a better roommate than her.
